I was at this function the other day and a few ladies...aged 40-45 had a little parliament session. You know..the one where they all sit down and talk about pointless issues and compare family crisis. I was pretty closeby this motherly meeting and I overheard them talking about Britney Spears. Picture this. Five Indian ladies ranting about god knows what and all of a sudden I heard this lady say "you know that american singer...what's her name..brittany something?"..and one of them cuts in saying "oh yes. Britney Spears. Such a bad influence I tell you..She just got divorced and now somebody is pressing charges against her. Can't even take care of her children properly. And those revealing pictures too. What nonsense is this?"..."And what's with this bald shennanigan...You don't think she took a vow for thaipusam now do you?"..."Celebrities these days. Such vulgarity." Ok..maybe I exaggerated the lines a tiny bit but this is all true. Britney, you should be ashamed of yourself. Tsk tsk tsk. As for the bunch of indian ladies...if they ever form a book club. Count me in! :)
